Paving to the Clouds on Pikes Peak!

posted in: CURRENT EVENTS | 0

We recently spent a day with Wagner Equipment, Power Equipment, Continental Milling and Kiewit Infrastructure where they were paving above tree line on Pikes Peak. Th project was from about 13,000 to the summit at 14,110 feet. It was impressive to see the work progressing at these elevations and how the performance of the equipment changes when they are gasping for air. With the elevation and steepness of the road, the work progressed and was done in a quality manner! See more pictures from the project
