CAPA Scholarship Golf Tournament registration underway! The 2010 Golf tournament will be held at The beautiful Raccoon Creek GC on Friday September 17^th. The 8:30 shotgun start will be followed by a great lunch, prizes and fellowship. Join Moody Insurance, ARS, Faris Machinery/Volvo, Power Equipment and Roadtec in becoming a scholarship sponser. Asphalt Technology scholarship application available to all for consideration.
The scholarship application has been posted earlier this year to allow people to make decisions as to who will be applying for the scholarships to go to the Asphalt Technology courses at the NCAT facility in Auburn Alabama in January or February 2011.

To down load the application, use this link. The deadline for returning the application is December 3, 2010. The application can be submitted at any time prior to December 2010. The selection committee will gather those applications and make the formal announcement of the recipients prior to the CAPA New member luncheon on December 10, 2010

ASPHALT TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS – Congratulations to the 2010 Asphalt Technology Scholarship Recipients. The Scholarship Program is a joint CAPA and APWA – Colorado Chapter program and provides financial support for selected recipients to attend the Short Course in Asphalt Technology at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) at Auburn University in Alabama. The attendee;s for 2010 are; Matt Johnson -  Larimer County; Erika Keeton - City of Fort Collins;  Heather Thom - Koechlein Consulting Engineers; Devin Laubhan - Lafarge West Inc.; John Juranek - Douglas County;  Carey Jones - Kumar and Associates.
